Mode 7 is a rapper and writer from Los Angeles, California, taking hip hop to another level with his original style of clever but conscious game music inspired hip hop. Raised on a heavy diet of video games and west coast rap while growing up, Mode 7 now combines and reimagines his love of Super Metroid and Tupac into a unique sound all his own.

Mode 7's style covers a range of hip hop and subject matter. Emotion comes through strong in many ways on Mode 7's music, tackling subjects like love and heartbreak, mental health, inequality, and loss with his own irreverent, often comedic bars.
